Terms
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These are the terms for working with Opposable.AI, a trading name of Opposable Games Limited (company no. 07787838, registered in England and Wales, VAT no. GB 160 9840 00). Questions: [email protected].
This page explains, in plain English, how booking, paying and cancelling work. Everything we do together comes under our Terms of Business (PDF). If anything on this page differs from them, the Terms of Business apply.
The key points
- You're in control. I show you how to use the AI tools and set them up so you stay in control. How they're used after that is your responsibility.
- The AI tools are yours. They're in your name, on your own accounts, under the provider's own terms. You can cancel or change them yourself at any time.
- My guidance is best practice, not a guarantee. AI changes quickly, and guidance can go out of date.
- Agreed and paid before we start. A day at your workplace, and any further work, is agreed in a short order form, which you accept online, and paid for before it begins.
- What I make for you. Your outputs and your company manual are yours. Software, processes and materials I provide are licensed for use within your business or organisation, not for sharing outside it or reselling.
- My liability is limited, as set out in the Terms of Business.
- For organisations, everything is agreed through your procurement process, with dates by agreement and a pause if the work grows into wider organisational change (see below).
Prices
The prices are on What it costs. VAT is added at 20%. Travel for a day at your workplace is a fixed price for your county, shown on the same page.
The call
- You pay when you book, by card through Stripe. A VAT invoice, marked paid, is emailed to you straight away, and it's on your private page too.
- When you book, you tick to agree to these terms and the Terms of Business.
- You can cancel for a full refund, or move the call, up to 7 days before it, using the links in your booking email.
- After that the booking is fixed. If something's come up, email me.
A day at your workplace
- Once we've agreed a date, I email you a short order form, with the Terms of Business attached, and a quote. It confirms the date, the start time, the price and what's included. You accept it on your private page with one click, and the invoice is emailed to you straight away.
- Both are due 7 days before the day: the order form accepted, and the invoice paid. If they aren't, the day doesn't go ahead.
- You can pay with Pay now on the invoice: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or straight from your bank account (Pay by Bank).
- You can cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before the day. After that, email me.
- You'll get a reminder by email a few days before the invoice is due, and again if it's late.
Organisations and teams
These apply to companies, schools, charities and other organisations working with me through the organisations page.
- The first call. About 20 minutes, booked on the organisations page. When you book, I ask for your organisation's registered details so I can check who I'm talking to.
- Working to your procurement process. Everything after the first call is agreed in an order form that goes through your procurement: purchase orders, NDAs and tailored contracts are welcome. Any special terms we agree are written into the order form and take priority over the Terms of Business.
- Paid before each stage. The starter package and each later stage are invoiced in advance and paid before they begin, by bank transfer or card. I quote your purchase order number on the invoice.
- Dates by agreement. Dates, and cancelling or moving them, are agreed between us in the order form. If a stage is cancelled after it has started, its fee remains payable unless we agree otherwise.
- Agreed scope. The order form records the processes and people in scope, the data AI may and may not use, and where your data is processed.
- Compliant with your policies. The work is carried out within your data and AI policies and your contracts with your own clients. How the tools are used after that is your organisation's responsibility.
- Not organisational change management. If the work starts to grow into wider stakeholder discussions, we agree a pause, or a stop, until the key decisions have been made and approved by your board (or governors or trustees).
- Your accounts. AI tools are set up in your organisation's name and paid for by you directly. You can scale them up, down or cancel them yourselves at any time.
- Larger custom work. Software, processes and materials I provide are licensed for use within your organisation. For larger custom work, such as an app, we agree the scope and who owns what before it starts.
Other work
Extra time you book and pay for on your private page, an hour at a time. Further site visits, and automations and apps, are agreed with you first in an order form (or by email, for small changes such as a date), then invoiced. The invoice says when it's due.
Your AI subscription
You pay for your Claude subscription, or any other AI tool, yourself, directly, in your own name. It isn't part of my price, and you can cancel it at any time.
The full Terms of Business
The Terms of Business (PDF) cover everything above in full, and also: what's included and what isn't, your responsibilities, ownership and licences, confidentiality, how personal data is handled, the work I don't take on, the limits on my liability, and ending the contract. They're governed by the law of England and Wales.
